I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.

For me they are the role model for being alive.

somethings never change

The bean replies,"I could set up your chair, faster and sooner, if you would help me get this pile of stuff into the house!"

Oh man, it SHOULD be their first priority! I love how you just go back to normal when you get home. My deck, my chair!

Humans make so many unnecessary demands on dogs. (sigh)

I love that there is a Christmas Tree Shop bag in your stuff waiting to go into the house... I don't think there is one in Dirtville or anywhere thereabouts... is there? Or is that just a little touch of New England that you keep for nostalgia's sake?

That is too funny. It's a hard life, eh Stumpy? I hope you both had a great holiday!

Okay, I was laughing at that video because that's so something I could see Riley doing. Plus the captions on it were hilarious! Glad to see you got back to Dirtville safely (although I know you're probably not too excited about it...!). I showed Riley's grandma the video too...we both had a good laugh.

Isn't it crazy how our parents seem to think their needs come first? What is that about?

Hopefully your chair is now where it belongs!

Stumpy Mom does need to get her priorities straight. Your chair needs to be #1 on her list.. Us pups need to be kept happy...

Kari, Silly is one word...

Barbara, I know, right? Someone slap me!

Jan, I'm reporting myself to PETA and the HSUS, immediately!

Wyatt, THANK YOU!!! I appreciate your understanding!

Wizz, now that's the truth!

Kristine, I'm telling you... no one knows how much that pooooooor little Stumpy suffers.

Elise and Riley, I'm happy to provide a little comic relief. Stumpy will be happy when her chair is properly set up so she can reign over her kingdom in comfort.

Boomer, I'm only human, cut me some slack. Please put your concerns to rest, the chair is now properly positioned.

OP Pack, you're laughing at me, not Stumpy, right? DOG forbid!

Heelers, it's no surprise you're taking Stumpy's side on this.

Hehe - I see a Christmas Tree Shops bag. I've only ever seen 2: Boston and Saco, ME. Is this bag from either? Shoot - right back to missing Maine again....

What Khyra said. We're sure Stumpy has a case for canine abuse, or at least neglect. After all, you're the mom, Stumpy's the baby :)

Thanks for the reality check in your comments on the most recent Mango Minster blog post.

Welcome back!

Khyra, that's all she needs... a little encouragement. thanks!

ForPetsSake, How cool that you spotted that! It's probably from the one in Shrewsbury, Ma, but maybe Portland/smouth. Missing New England never goes away... but, it's easier when there is so much snow!

Jed and Abby, I turned myself in to PETA and HSUS. I'm sure they're coming to get me anytime. And they'll set Stumpy free so she can live like a real dog! (I can't remember what i said on the MM post, blame it on the guilt I feel for abusing Stumpy)

Mango, I've already handcuffed myself and am waiting for black and white to cart me off.

Thanks, Sandra! I'm already looking for an escape!

I hope that while on the road you did not make that mistake.
