Stumpy and I left the RTR about a week ago. I admit to feeling pretty lackadaisical these days so pictures are lacking.
We met up with Ivy, again. You may remember that Ivy and her chauffeur traveled cross country in our little caravan.
Yes! That's Snowden, who stayed with us for a few days at Fenway's house, in November.
Most of the original Dome Rock Pack was in attendance. But we've lost several members. Even Stumpy is 9 years old now. She was a three year old pup at her first RTR. That might make her the matriarch!
I'm grateful to Chili Moon's and Savannah Butterscotch's publicist and PR director for a blog post that introduces newer members of the Dome Rock Pack
These are just a few of the dogs in attendance. The RTR was bigger than ever this year and the number of dogs increased accordingly. Amazingly, I never heard of any serious kerfluffles between dogs. It seems to me that dogs, living on the road, are highly social and very comfortable in constantly fluid situations.
My goal for next years RTR is a group picture with all the dogs.

Stumpy! Great to see you sunbaking in the desert!! And great to get this brief update. Hope you and Cyndi are well. We're looking forward to that group shot!

Looks like it was a lot of fun.
Woos - Ciara and Lightning
Otto and Lisa, we were on our way to Cali when the chauffeur had a health issue that changed our plan. You're on our list when we head west, again. Hopefully, in a few weeks.
OP Pack, it was sooooooooo much fun! We both really love out time with the Dome Rock Pack. It's always over way too soon!!!
Hey Stumpy, That looks like a good time! Sunshine and Furiends, what else could a dog want?...maybe a few treats :)
Happy Travels,
Wyatt and Tegan
Hi Wyatt!! Hi Teagan!! The treats never stop at the RTR. EVERYONE has a pocketful. Bags of treats are available, all over the place, for the unavoidable event: empty pockets.
Looks like a wonderful time for you and your friends to get together for some fun times. We love the photos that you shared. Have a wonderful upcoming weekend.
World of Animals
It was an Oscar winning film with Daniel Day Lewis about 30 years ago.
Inside the movie he played a severely disabled boy.
…Only able to move his left foot.
Daniel had some severe behavioral problems.
He was a real handful and really frustrated.
Until that is…
One day-quite by accident- his family realized he was…
A GENIUS!
…And able to create amazing world class art work.
After that realization- everything changed.
The intelligence and gifts he had were unlocked.
His frustration and behavior problems stopped and there was an incredible Hollywood ending (a fairytale ending)
Here’s the point…
Inside your dog-there is incredible intelligence too.
I’ve seen it in hundreds of Dogs I’ve worked with.
And once you unlock that intelligence.
Most behavioral problems simply melt away.
And the bond with you and your dog grows stronger.
Sound good?
