I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.

For me they are the role model for being alive.

Amusing Stumpy

isn't that difficult

She'll just hang onto this toy for what seems like forever.

And give it a tug, every once in awhile, to make sure I am still attached.

Would she like it if you gave it a toss for her?

Stella has a huge collection of squeaky toys and she will allow me to hold one, but if I squeak it, she takes it away. Its just the way its gotta be!

Hang in there Stumpy. You've got quite a grip!

Heehee! Sometimes I do that, too. You don't wanna pull too hard cuz humans are awfully week and it builds up their confidence when they think they might be winning.

Dogs seem to enjoy a gentle tug of war, maybe to make sure the connection is still there.

Riley loves to play tug although she goes a little crazy with it and tugs with all her might. It looks like Stumpy's nice and polite!!

Stumpy you hang onto that ball just like Gus. He doesn't play the game fair. Louie says you are supposed to give it back..

So, who let go first? Fixations can be very 'fixating', ya know?

Stella, I toss toys all day long. This is my break!

Clampets! She does have a pretty good grip and she cheats, too!

Maizie, oh she'll pull hard...this is a whole 'nother game! You know, the one that comes in between tug and toss...

Jan, it's totally a control/connection thing, for her... she's in charge, you know?

Carey, so what's new?

Elyse, Stumpy goes a little over the top when we play tug, too. That's how this "game" came about.

Boomer, No doubt about the "mine, mine, mine...go, go, go!" stumpy would prefer to skip the down!

Heelers, Stumpy doesn't agree with Louie!

Phyllis! Thanks for visiting! I haven't many (or any) kitties that would go for that gift wrapping. Stumpy, is among many other things, cute! Thanks for saying so!

Booker, we'll have to have a contest to see who will just hold the darn thing for the longest! You game?

Khyra, I might be better enterntained if I had a third arm/hand so I could actually use two hands to type!

Tula, yes, I agree...Stumpy REALLY needs a brother! We almost had a miniature Norwood.

Texas! How nice of you to stop by! Hmmm... I'll have to visit and see what else your brother is up to!

Brenda, I just don't have the tenacity or focus that Stumpy does. I cave, every time! yes, I know all about fixations!
