I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.

For me they are the role model for being alive.

Tuesday's Tasty Treat # 9: Booda Bones

We all know Stumpy is not at all fussy about what she puts in her mouth. But it did take a couple of minutes for Stumpy to decide this was edible and worth the effort.

All told, the 5 inch Booda Bone supplied 50 minutes of chew time! This is what's left after 40 minutes: just a nub.

You can see she is eager to get back to chewing.

Fifty minutes of focused chewing. Don't worry, the video isn't 50 minutes! It's 32 seconds, I think!

You must not have real jaws of doom. Those things last about 30 seconds with me for real (so I don't get them, boo hoo). I love that movie! Such industrious dogs.

Oh, and we just luv that movie by Best Friends! We think it would be just so wonderful if all pets had a home for the holidays.

A treat that takes fifty minutes to eat? That's amazingly wonderful news. I am going to have to put on a search for these. Hopefully they sell them in Canada.

You do it the right way, Stumpy. That's good fur your toofers!
Mom has to watch us like a hawk. Stanzie and I, tend to swallow stuff whole. Who has time to chew?

OMD, you have the best videos to share - that was hysterical.

We get hard marrow bones to chew on or Galileo ones, but the mom keeps a close watch on us because we tend to chew like we have jaws of steel.

Mango, I call Stumpy a focused chewer, as opposed to a aggressive chewer. She focuses on one little piece at a time, til it's dead or gone.

K9friend, the Bood bone passed MY test! an hour without Stumpy bugging me for one thing or another is a real gift!

Mayzie, it looked like she enjoyed it from where I was sitting, too!

Brenda, BFAS has some great videos!

Kristine, and that was the small one! next time I'm in civilization I'm going to get a bigger one to see how long that lasts.

Wyatt, I keep a close eye on Stumpy when she's gnawing, too. She's nver been one to swallow things whole, like some of my dogs where I had to perform Canine Heimlick manuevers.

Sallie, Put it on Santa's list!

OP Pack! I'm sure glad you're enjoying the videos. i admit to watchinmg most of them more than a couple times (it's kind of the test of whether topost or not!)

I'm going to have to look for those bones for dingbat Zoe and Blair.

Thanks for visiting. Yes, the job is going well. It's slow right now but will pick up soon. I'm so happy to be there!

Heelers, Since Stumpy doesn't get paid for her endorsements, you can take her woof for it!

Khrya, ditto the response!

Wizz, Stumpy sure likes them (and I like that Stumpy likes them!)

Phyllis, I hope Zoe and Blair enjoy them and I'm glad the job is giong well!
