Yup!! I am a little bummed... There were no winners in my contest... no one really even tried. The Happy Heelers answered one question, but not in an e-mail as directed. Khyra also kinda sorta answered a question, but again, not in the requested e-mail...
What should we do? Send the donation to one of my favorite rescues? Ask the Heelers for their favorite rescue, and send it there? Or continue the contest for another week... I am open to your suggestions. If I get a consensus of opinions, that's what we will do...
Just so you know, three of my favorite rescues and shelters get a monthly donation from me, it comes out of my retirement check before I even see it, so I don't even miss it... I budgeted this extra twenty five dollars to help somewhere else.

SERIOUSLY, with all the blogs and stuff I've got to do in a day, I just didn't have the time - as it is, I think we are up 24+ hours a day - and STILL don't get a frakhtion of the stuff done we want to get done!
Please paw it along - dog knows a zillion and one places that need it!

I'm with Khyra, don't be bummed. You amazingly give so much with your time and donations. I'm sorry I didn't play... mom's just now getting back into the routine. I think the Happy Heelers should pick a rescue.. or maybe partner with Nigel w/Life w/Dogs. He has a huge network and may help get more to play.

We're sorry too stumpy-- all your help & efforts don't go unnoticed & is much needed! I like norwood's idea.. the Heelers should pick or get the word out to Nigel-- and try it again.
Thanks, I appreciate your input. I was thinking the Heelers, myself. Sharing it with a fellow blogger, with a large folllowing, is a good idea, My intention was to share with our bloggie friends, to give them a chance to do a little something extra.

We're really, really sorry. Mum sent our entry to the wrong email address (what an idiot!). She just resent it but we're pretty sure we did not get all the answers right - of course it was a miracle Mum actually found our entry after the fact (did we mention she is an idiot?)
