I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.

For me they are the role model for being alive.

Monday memories ... Ode to my BFF

who happened to be a dog... and so much more.

Wabbit's been on my mind more than usual, lately. And the Monday Memories, of Princess Dakota, at the OP Pack's home in blog land clinched the deal.

It's been over two years since my Wabbit-boy went on without me. He and I got sick in the same time period. As a result, I will always feel I wasn't there for him, the way he was ALWAYS there for me.

I credit Wabbit with Stumpy's recovery, too. Strangely enough, Wabbit, who didn't have the desire to get along with any other dog, decided Stumpy could be his buddy. It was Wabbit who showed Stumpy how to be a dog and gave her the courage to go places and do things she had previously been unable to face.

Wabbit was just so gorgeous - we never knew you had Wabbit. We are glad we moved you to do this post - the memories are what help us with our loss.

Thanks for sharing - and we loved the song.

Jan, like my family and dear friends,we are so blessed.

Rottrover, I stopped over for a smooch. the lights were on but no one was homee.

Kari, he was indeed!

OP Pack, he was a head turner for sure! I am so grateful we made so many memories!

Brooke, Thanks. he started out (and ended up) as my son's dog, so he chose the name. He waited for years to be mature enough to have a GSD to call his own and had the name picked out forever!

Jan, Bittersweet for sure!

Terrozinos, Gorgeous everything. Wabbit was the complete package!

As long as Wabbit is in your heart you are still connected, until your souls meet again.

And I have to believe we will be reuinited with those we love.

Brenda, it could never be good enough.

Wabbit looks like an old soul with lots to teach and obviously found the right place to do his teaching. What a handsomely beautiful friend.

Helen, Thanks. Wabbit was pretty much an eternal puppy 'til that damned surgery!
