I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.

For me they are the role model for being alive.

Stumpy was abducted

At first we thought it was Kuzzin' Fenway

But the lazer-like eyes revealed it's true identity.

OK, not really. But we did go visit Fenway.

Last week we crossed the dam, into Nevada, to take the RV we had looked at earlier for a coach, chassis and drive-train inspection. The Shasta will not be our home on wheels :(...
This has really knocked the wind out of my sails. I thought for sure this was it. The never-ending, all-consuming search was FINALLY at an end.

We're OK, now. But I was really expecting to drive that baby home and start packing.

I love Willie. A few years ago we went to one of his concerts and a few days later we read that the sheriff had stopped one of his vans and found some marijuana.

We all wondered, And...?

Is there a story here? Something we don't know?

I don't remember hearing any more about it. I love Willie.

We are sorry to hear that Shasta won't work out, but better to know that now than when you were on the road and hit a snag. When the time is right, it will all come together.

Jan, the charges were reduced and he payed a $10,000.00 fine according to The Examiner.

Willie's awesome and I'm not even a country music fan!

Carey, That's what I keep telling myself!

OP Pack,AMEN!

Khyra, One of these days I'll show up in PA and dognap one of those cuties!

Kari, I sure hope so. We've had enough of summer in the desert!

We were at the dog park on Saturday and met a dog that looked just like Stumpy!

So the search continues...

You two seem to be doing some traveling anyhow.
Thanks for continuing to visit me. I have been such a bad follower. These days it is tough enough for me to find my way from the kitchen to the computer. Maybe because the computer has NOT been my best friend.

Yes, mud season comes before spring.

I'm sorry about Shasta too, but maybe with gas at $4 a gallon, you might want to rethink this too!?!

The best is yet to come!

I have heard about those alien abductions out in the desert! Yikes Glad it was just Fenway!
Sorry bout the wheels- that is a let down- It will happen! Thanks for a little willie! Most people are shocked that I listen to him but just hearing his voice makes me smile.

Brooke, I hope the Stumpy look-alike didn't have a 'tude!

Dogsmom, blogging should be fun! It can't be fun if there's other things pressing.

Boomer, Thank goodness it was only Fenway!

Lorenza, That's what we've been telling ourselves (for going on 5 years)

Stella, for me full-timing isn't about traveling, so much. I've been fortunate enough to have traveled all over the country, more than a couple times.

Wyatt, Sounds like a boat might work for you!

Dewdana, We're right between Roswell and Area 51 so abductions are pretty common. that's what the guy with the tinfoil hat told me!

Deborah, we got out safe and sound...

Keisha! Thanks for visiting! Stumpy and I are on a permenant vacation, but we'd rather be somewhere else.

Pat, Thanks! It's out there somewhere!

Sorry about the Shasta. :-( Those flashlight eyes scare me, but it looks like nothing can disturb Stumpy when she's snuggling.

Thanks for the update on the bulls, by the way. That's really cool to have them roaming freely. As long as they're not aggressive bulls. :-)

That's too bad about the RV... but if it didn't inspect at 100% then it is just as well... The thought of Stumpy having to tow an RV because it broke down in the middle of nowhere is not a good one! Keep looking, the right one will find YOU!
