I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.

For me they are the role model for being alive.

Take it back!!! or say it ain't...

SNOW???!!!???

Yup! I walked out the door this morning to toss the ball for Stumpy before work and it's freaking snowing! Bad enough that it got down to 35 last night, but snow? In October?????

It's probably just blowing off of the mountains, but still, it's a matter of principle. Now I am late, because I had to whine and rant. HA!! It's not as if they can dock my pay or anything! No, no one is waiting for me. I always go in an hour or two early because that is only time I can get any paperwork done.

Next time, bring some cheese, would you? Stumpy is waiting for cheese.

Bring cheese? As in, cheese falling from the sky instead of snow?

Deborah, I moved to dirtville so I wouldn't have to own a jacket!

Sam, you and marge are welcome anytime! Stumpy and I miss swimming and things that are green... Bring cheese to go with the whine!!

GJ, no cheese yet, but we know an online place you can order if you get to feeling real bad for us...

Khyra! Easy for you to say!!! You have all that floof!!!

Wait till you see my winter photos. Not only snow, but there is a look to very sub-zero temps! You know yours won't last. Stumpy, I like cheese too. I hope you get your cheese.

Sandra, that's why I am here. I loved winter for many years and while I was physically able to enjoy it. I delivered mail, walking a 10 mile route in all kinds of weather. the coldest being -56, with the wind chill. I take it very personally when Mother Nature snows on my parade!

I have spent plenty of time in Minne- snooooow-ta! And I will admire your weather, pictures and fortitude from afar! And provide as much sympathy as you would like!
