I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.

For me they are the role model for being alive.

The Texan Sky

In Wimberly, Texas Stumpy met Sky.

Sky was dumped at the shelter after being used as a puppy mill breeder until she was 7 years old.

She was brought home, as a foster, 5 weeks ago. Her foster mom and dad fell in love and they're now officially foster failures.

Sky has adjusted to the good life (she's a full-timin' road-dawg, too) amazingly quickly and well. Stumpy was the first dog she's met that she showed signs of wanting to play. Although, she was a little shy with people, she warmed up quickly to belly rubs.

Sky even wanted to check out Stumpy's digs.

Hooray for Sky and her new family!

Hey Stumpy - we're jealous of that greenery on the ground and those almost bare feet.

Happy travels!

Glad Sky has a furever home now! She's a cutie. Stumpy could get any dog to play, huh? :)

Have a great Easter!

ACD6pack,
Sky is a VERY lucky girl, but so aren't her new caretakers! It takes Stumpy awhile to get used to grass after living on dirt. We go through a transition phase, each time where she won't walk/potty on the grass, then we get back to dirt we go through the same thing. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!

Sugar, AWESOME news for sky and her new family!

Elyse, it takes Stumpy a few minutes to warm up but she's definitely a social girl and loves to play with the other dogs.
