I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.

For me they are the role model for being alive.

As long as it's not a bee or a stinger or those nasty fire ants, get it, Stumpy!!! Ciara tries to catch lightning bugs. Mom needs to get that on video.

Hope that pesky flier is gone now.

Yikes! A wasp! Good thing you didn't get stung on the snooter, Stumpy!

I wish Riley would take some pointers from you...she's just so dang silly... She was on a fly catching mission the other day and finally got the fly. She kept spitting it out, then putting it back in her mouth, spitting it out, etc... Then finally she spit it out and left it on the floor. 5 minutes later it "revived" itself and started flying around the house again...UGH!! Can Riles come to your boot camp next time you have it? :) Hopefully she'll survive the Dirtville heat!!!

Oh and yes, the braces will SO be worth it in the end! I just keep thinking of the end product! The cool thing is that I can already tell my teeth have moved some...and that's only with having them for 2 weeks.

That is so cute.

Our Chamois can catch flies in her mouth and then she swallows them. We live in terror that she will catch a bee or wasp.

Gosh! Be careful Stumpy! Those wasps can really pack a punch.

OP Pack, stumpy has experienced all of those mentioned, but the only ones she avoids are the fire ants.

Sugar, it was HUUUUUUGE!

Elyse, Stumpy would only be good for encouraging riley to chase flys, bees, hornets and wasps.

Jan, Stumpy is pretty talented, too. I keep benedryl close for reactions

Mango, Stumpy has learned, the hard way (more than a few times) she can't seem to control the urge...

I diskhovered on my walk tonight there is a Stumpy-Kinda-Look-A-Like in one of the other neighbourhoods -

Sadly, it was getting too dark to snag a good pikh -

BUT we'll keep our eyes and snooter open!

Stumpy, I'm scared of wasps. You're very brave, but be careful. My Aussie got a swollen snout a couple weeks ago from being brave. You can't trust those insect things. They are small, but ouch! Cute video!

Looks like that wasp... will no longer bug you!
Happy Wednesday!

Kari, buzzing bugs cause Stumpy to lose her mind and any thought of caution is out the window.

Khyra, looking forward to seeing a pikh of the blue dog!

Helen, the benedryl is always at the ready!

Lorenza, I'm (not) sorry to say the vacuum ate the wasp!

Thanks for visiting my blog. And for watching my video with Simon, my son's Boston Terrier. I don't know what he'd do with a wasp, but he's very unfriendly to warm-blooded critters like rabbits and chipmunks.

Careful with wasps. Word is that you don't bother bees, they don't bother you. But wasps will sting even if you aren't bothering them. Just the way they are.

miss stumpy!

you showed that wasp who was boss!! i'm super duper glad that he didn't sting you before you got him!
me 'n asa looooove chasin' bees. mama always freaks out thinkin' we're gonna get stung, but we nevarrr have! *knock on wood*

*woof*
the booker man

pee s -- i noticed that you were missin' a shoe in your video...i only saw 3 clogs on the mat...what happened to your 4th one? HEEHEE.

Wizz, are you OCD, too?

Pat, If we take into account the number of times Stumpy gets stung, the score might be even.

Tula, we'll add exterminator to her job description. she also hunts spiders and beetles...

Roo, I don't know if she was excited that that bug was trapped in her house or PO'd that it had the nerve!

Booker, tell your mom Stumpy says the bee sting only hurts for a minute and not bad enough to keep her from going right back to it. always keep benadryl on hand for an allergy that cold develop at any time.

Shoes are all accounted for, Stumpy's leaping knocked them around some (of course, I am going to blame any mess or disarray on poooooooooor Stumpy!)
