Stumpy recently received a calendar from our friend

Thanks Stella! Your assistant takes some GREAT pictures! We love the calendar! Is that sweet June baby you or a relative?
I decided to turn the envelope into a "Stimulating Stumpy" opportunity and stuffed it with her favorite chicken jerky.
You may remember that on January 26 Stumpy was honored to be inducted into the "Would Have Made A Great Carny Dog" on the Carny Dog FaceBook Fan Site. Susan, Stella's personal assistant has posted some great pictures of Elite Road Dogs. You should check it out!
I found Susan and Stella a couple years ago,I think. My insatiable appetite for discovering/traveling America led me to a series of her photos documenting all things Carny. I've since discovered her interests are not limited to dogs and the midway. Susan documents threads of American life through her photography and writings. Pitcherlady, is a good place to start, if you're interested. I'd be hard pressed to attempt to define Susan's work. She's conscious. She's aware. She's paying attention and she cares!

Personalized calendars are so nice.
And of course, the Stumpy stimulation was a good use of that envelope. Ciara would have eaten all of the envelope as she tried to find the jerky:(

Did poor Stumpy ever get the jerky out? I saw something down on the floor at the end and wasn't sure if it was jerky or a piece of the envelope... Riley would have eaten the envelope like Ciara would...! Cool calendar, we'll have to go check her website out!

Hey Thanks (many) for the plug. Would love to have you all visit and thrilled to see Stumpy with the goods! Stella watched the entire video btw, not sure if it was the music or the idea of a future play date that kept her interested and yes, that is her - Miss June.

Susan, I was a little confused by Miss June, becuse of the nose. It's blackened up, quite a bit! I hope you weren't trying to keep Your work a secret! I'm always happy to share great discoveries! Stumpy and I are both looking forward to that future play date! Glad you can comment, again, too!
