I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.

For me they are the role model for being alive.

Sunday's snooze #16

Despite freezing temperatures (speaking in relative terms, only, yesterday's high was 37° F) Stumpy braved the chill to nap in the sun

The wind is howling out of the northwest and coming off the mountains. Our water pipes have been frozen since Friday. We're grateful they haven't broken.

The Moon Chair protects Stumpy from the wind, so she can enjoy the sun.

In 10 days, we'll be heading south for 3 weeks! YIPPEE YAHOOOOOOO!!!!

Proof that a good chair allows for the perfect snooze, regardless of the environment. SNOOZE ON, Stumpy!

So so comfy she looks. I am jealous of your sun.

Yay for heading south!

It's good to know nothing stops Stumpy from taking her nap! A girl needs her beauty sleep to keep sharp!

Maybe I'm crazy, but there is no sweeter sight than watching babies, or pets, sleeping. In about an hour, I'm gonna try to take a snooze also.

Stumpy looks like she is absorbing the healing and strengthening rays from the sun.

A sun bake pretty much always feels good. Plus a girl has to get her vitamin D, right?

That moon chair sure looks quite comfy to us. It is pretty cold here too, but TD and Ciara enjoy it. Phantom prefers the sunbeams through the window with the selected spot in front of the heat vent:)

Bet you are just counting those days to vacation time.

37 can still feel pretty good when you're laying in the sun, that's for sure. I really like your chair, Stumpy. Maybe I'll talk to mom about getting me one!

Brenda, Stumpy has serveral chairs that will prove that theory!

Kristine, the sun is gone again :(

Carey, Stumpy is forced to nap because of my inactivity.

Joke Puppy, naps are good for you! Nap on!

Jan, No doubt! When she wakes up she will be at least twice as full of it!

Mango, coming from the king of naps and meditation your word is like the gospel.

OP Pack, I'm always eager to leave dirtville in the dust!

Mayzie, I enjoyed the sun, too! If your mom needs convincing, have her give me a call!

Khyra, you're willing to give up your floof? For us??? Shucks!I'm sure the blog world would have something to say about a floofless you!

Heelers, I was truly shocked she stayed out on such a chilly day!

K9K, Ssssssshhhh... she's already way to sure of it!

We heard it was abnormally cold out there in Dirtville. Stumpy sure doesn't seem to be bothered by it - honestly, based on the pictures, I would have guessed it was in the 60s or so!

Sure it was cold... but nothing better than a good nap on your favorite chair, right?

So, you live in the desert and still go south for the winter? What a life!

I sure do get it, Stumpy! You find a sheltered place to get some warmth & sun, you are a lucky girl! My spot on Saturday when the temps were actually in the 50s in MA, was out behind the garage sitting on the rain barrel! You have to take what you can get!

Sam, I was shocked that Stumpy stayed out!

Lorenza, Stumpy LOVES that chair!

Phyllis, do a note a touch of sarcasm?

Sandra, It's all part of my master plan which will begin to unfold, hopefully, soon! Unfortunately, I'll still be in the desert with no water or anything green in sight.

Deborah, Don't you just adore those January thaws? It's been warmer in mass. than here. :(
