I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.

For me they are the role model for being alive.

The little missy is quite pissy and Eierkuchen (egg cake)

The ears are talking to me, again.

In case you are having trouble with the translation she is upset that dinner is late, again.

I made Eierkuchen (egg cake)for the crew at the food bank. I cook for a crew of between 30 and 40 people, three times a month, when we distribute food. The Eierkuchen was a hit. Of course, I had to quadruple (and then some) the recipe. I used 48 eggs and 5 pounds of bacon. I also used disposable aluminum baking pans and baked it entirely in the oven. No one complained.

The crew has been working since about 6:30am. I've been cooking since 4am, and usually arrive around 7:30. I meant to take pictures before they dug in but I am always so rushed when I get in there, I didn't get a chance.

There were tow of these, but they both looked the same. I am pretty sure it passed muster. I've already had requests to make it again.

Thanks to the Three Wild and Happy Heelers' mom for the recipe!

I have never heard of this. Will have to check it out - wait, there is flipping involved? The cats and dogs here would love that part.

Khyra, you are never too late! I've got an email I am sending your way.

K9Friend, it truly was and I was grateful to have something different to make!

Heelers, when I make a smaller one, I will use a cast iron pan. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Dogsmom, it doesn't have to be flipped, it came out just fine baking it all the way. Although, I am sure the cat's and dogs would appreciate your attempt!
