It's like she's saying, "WAKE UP! WAKE UP! It's time to conquer the world! Don't you understand?!"
I'm glad to see him relaxing indoors!
PS - I read the whole update the other day and meant to comment but didn't get a chance, and wanted to say something regarding his eventual neutering. Would you have access to a chemical neuter in your area, like with an injection? If you could find a vet who'd let you, you might not even have to bring him to the vet. Just a thought.
Sam, hmmm.. I never heard of chemical nuetreing before, except in the case of sexual offenders. I'll definately look into, it though! Thanks for the heads up!
Khyra, The Berner does play occassionally, just not often or long enough for Stumpy's tastes.
I think she is helping him relax. Her activity is good for him. I would ask the vet if it would be possible to make a trip to your home and neuter him there. I used to happen all the time on the farm and it still does with horses. Colts are castrated at home. If you plead and plead some more you might get a yes. If the vet truly cares about the outcome for this dog.
Stumpy you and Callie would get along just great. She is always putting her hand on us too. Trying to get us to play with her... Maybe it is a girl heeler thing?
