I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.

For me they are the role model for being alive.

Earektomy

Actually, we are at the bank, in the drive through. Each day we make a deposit from the thrift store, Stumpy receives a treat from her friends at the bank. Believe me, they are HER friends. They are not nearly so happy to just see me.

She worries each day. Until she gets her treats, she is quite sure that this is the day they will cut her off.

Poor girl. It's such a rough life; fraught with stress, and all kinds of horrible things!

PS
This post is especially for Norwood, who wondered about Stumpy's "talking" ears.

Khyra, I suppose your right! She does fool me quite often ;)

Norwood, I would imagine your assistant has the same problem. You know, people know my dogs name and not mine...

Sandra, Stumpy can speak volumes with her ears! Thank goodness, it's all silent!

Oh Stumpy we sure hope they do not cut you off either.. We used to get treats when we went to the park too but the last few times we went nobody was in that little house so no treats..

I wish Marge had neighborhood friends like that.. well, minus the chopping-ear-off part. ;)

Really, though, that's a pretty cool routine you guys have.

Heelers, Stumpy gets all kinds of bummed out when we drive by the bank. It's just not right that those cookie feeders aren't working, 24/7, so she can have her treat!

Marge, it could happen. I remember the days when Stumpy cowered in the back seat it wasn't that long ago.

LWD, EXACTLY!!! That and, "Hurry up, already!"
